AC & Refrigerator Technician
The position of Technician is responsible for the Vending/Fountain/Cooler and Refrigeration Machine & AC units operations for Tortuga Rum Company. The postholders duties include Inventory Management, Replenishment, Reconciliation, Trouble Shooting, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance of all machines. The technician must be self-motivated and work with little to no supervision. The postholder must be able to maintain positive relationships with customers through regular visits and contact.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Preventative Maintenance of Pattie Warmers, AC units, vending machines, coolers, refrigerators and other assigned equipment.
· Troubleshoot and Repair equipment. – Fridges and AC units in all Tortuga locations
· Check product that required to do your job, changing light blubs in stores.
· Maintain all AC in main office building
· Able to complete comprehensive inventory counts
· Communicate shortages/out-of-stocks
· Participate in process improvement
· Works productively with little supervision
· Participate in requisite training and development initiatives with Tortuga
· Provide monthly reports on services.
· Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
· Electrical, mechanical or similar background.
· Minimum of two years’ proven experience in a similar role.
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Thorough knowledge of fountain, fridge & AC equipment operating procedures.
· Able to lift 50lbs or more on a repetitive basis
· Ability to use basic tools and have a clean driving license.
· High level of accuracy with attention to details in all Tortuga locations.
· Ability to work with minimum supervision.
· Must be able to address customer need, queries or concerns.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Strong time management and organizational skills are essential to this role.
· Willing to learn and increase knowledge and qualifications.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be available to work a flexible schedule - weekend coverage and rotational schedules when required.
· Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
