Marketing Assistant


The successful candidate will support and assist the marketing team and executives on projects directed at maximising company profits by developing sales strategies and executing marketing campaigns. Additionally working closely with various teams to develop advertising, market research, production, sales, and distribution.



This role is very involved in the success of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as in the long-term growth of the company. Some major responsibilities include coordinating with internal departments and external vendors regarding marketing initiatives. The Marketing Assistant will be involved in promoting and building a market share for the Company’s products to enhance sales and brand visibility.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Assist with social media marketing, creating content and responding to messages.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Marketing Team.
  • Assist with preparing marketing reports.
  • Create company brochures and similar marketing tools.
  • Assist with promotional events.
  • Liaising with customers/external agencies.
  • Assist with organizing market research.
  • Work with the Marketing team to manage brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Manage schedules for marketing initiatives.
  • Attend trade shows and various company events.
  • Organize and manage marketing collateral and retail point of sale.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Other duties as determined.



  • Associate degree desirable; bachelor’s degree in a marketing-related field advantageous.
  • Knowledge of marketing and design software and Microsoft Office required (must be able to use spreadsheets to analyze data).
  • Familiarity with social media and online marketing platforms.
  • Copywriting, design and video editing skills would be an asset.

CI$28,000 – CI$32,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Benefits include an employee discount and bonus scheme.
