Marketing & Events Manager
The Marketing & Events Manager will be responsible for the execution of the company’s Marketing strategy and plan. The candidate will have strong copywriting and communication skills. In addition to proven experience in this field, retail or hospitality experience is a plus. Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Participate in the development and execution of marketing plans and brand activations to reach target audiences.
- Effectively manage and allocate marketing budget and resources according to the annual plan and business priorities.
- Liaise with advertising agencies and external contractors to manage and execute campaigns.
- Analyze competitive products/services to identify areas for improvement to gain market share.
- Develop an effective online presence, and cross-platform content strategy, for the brand through websites, blogs, social media channels, and other online platforms.
- Plan and implement digital and social media campaigns, including monitoring and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Retail, Wholesale and Brands teams to develop effective marketing programs and events.
- Lead shopper marketing programs and in-store strategy, including point of sale and permanent visibility tools across retail stores.
- Lead internal communications, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging through all mediums (internal and external).
- Coordinate publicity events such as trade shows, community events, or social gatherings where potential customers can get acquainted with TRC and its brands.
- Measuring the success of marketing campaigns by analyzing sales figures, customer feedback, and other factors that indicate whether objectives were met.
- Create and maintain up-to-date collection of creative materials and assets, including photography, videography, and printed materials.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, internal clients, and external business partners.
Qualification/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years prior experience in a marketing related role.
- Advance written and communication skills.
- Previous experience in Retail Marketing is preferred but not essential.
- Graphic design and photography experience is desirable. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop would be an advantage.
- Experience with analytics tools, e-commerce, and content management systems.
- Advanced experience using social media and digital platforms.
Additional requirements
- Strong time management skills, ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with planning and executing events.
- Demonstrable creativity, problem resolution, analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Must be organized, with ability to multitask while seamlessly handling inbound requests from colleagues and leadership.
- Must have a thorough understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, including how to create advertisements, how to promote a product or service.
- Previous experience in a full-service marketing agency setting would be advantageous.
- Comfortable with public speaking and being interviewed on camera/video.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends and/or public holidays.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
Salary Range: $50-$60,000 KYD
