Sponsorship and Donations

The Tortuga Rum Company (TRC) sponsorship/donation programme aims to build a positive reputation within the community and to drive our commercial brand objectives. Our programme seeks to achieve a balance through supporting community initiatives as well as revenue generating activations that support the promotion of our brands, including sponsorship of events, sporting activities and charitable organisations.

Priority will be given to sponsorship proposals that best align with the objectives of TRC and the brands that we work with.

Food and Drink related events, Sports, Health & Wellness, Music, Community.

SPONSORSHIP DETAILS

It is preferred that all sponsorship requests are submitted at least eight weeks prior to the initiative or event. In addition, we welcome supporting documentation such as a detailed sponsorship prospectus, photos of previous events or samples of promotional artwork.

Your sponsorship proposal must clearly identify what the potential benefits and exposure are for Tortuga Rum Company and/or the sponsoring brand. A full list of sponsorship benefits should be included.

Opportunities can include, but are not limited, to the following benefits:

• Media exposure (TV, radio, press, magazine, online, outdoor, etc.)
• Signage and advertising
• Marketing of TRC or sponsoring brand’s promotional messages and logo inclusion in promotional materials and collateral
• On site opportunities for product sales and/or promotion
• Tickets/hospitality
• Opportunity to distribute promotional merchandise

All proposals should indicate the details of other sponsors (proposed and confirmed) and any exclusivity arrangements. Our preference is that we retain exclusivity in any sponsorship category (e.g. alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages).

Within 2 weeks of the conclusion of the campaign/event, it is preferred that an overview document be presented on the successes of the initiative and the sponsorship coverage received.

To help us evaluate your sponsorship/donation request, please give us as much background information as possible. It is suggested that you include additional information in support of your application. Please note that due to the large number of requests we receive, it can take up to four weeks to process a sponsorship/donation request.
