Trade Marketing Associate
Job Purpose & Function:
The Trade Marketing Associate supports the development and execution of trade marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and drive sales across all consumer touchpoints. This role works closely with the Brands and Marketing & Events Team to deliver impactful trade activations, events, point-of-sale materials, and in-market campaigns. The position requires strong project management, creativity, and collaboration skills to ensure seamless execution and consistent brand representation in the marketplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all channels to ensure a cohesive brand image.
- Work within our annual brands & marketing plan to ensure every activation lands on time, in budget, and to brand standards.
- Capture engaging content from activations to amplify our social storytelling.
- Execute campaigns with precision, collaborating with sales and marketing to meet customer needs.
- Build strong relationships and create unforgettable brand experiences in the trade.
- Contribute to channel, category and competitor intelligence, like price audits and gap analysis to support planning
- Participate in multi-year, annual and quarterly strategic brand planning.
- Utilize project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Assist Brands Team preparing monthly and quarterly reports and presentations, while providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Support sales team efforts by developing compelling presentations and decks for sales opportunities.
- Manage POS inventory, requirements, and execution, whilst ensuring timely delivery to general market.
- Manage digital asset organization and communication, ensuring the sales and marketing team has access to up-to-date, effective toolkits.
- Collaborate with brand, sales, retail, and marketing to create integrated omni-channel messaging across paid, owned, earned, and trade media channels.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in trade marketing, brand activation, shopper marketing, and sales within the beverage/alcohol industry.
- A genuine passion for the on-trade scene and the Caribbean/Cayman Islands hospitality culture.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated experience with managing logistics, budgets, and external vendors or partners
- Skilled communicator (written and verbal), with strong organizational skills, and able to get along well with people of multifarious ethnic backgrounds.
- Additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support business priorities.
- Experience with project management systems (e.g Monday.com or Trello) would be a plus.
- Exceptional ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Available to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday, and occasional weekends and public holidays for special events.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with key internal and external stakeholders, including distributors, customers, and brand/supplier partners.
- Ability to carry-out Physical activity such as - repetitively lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.; bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.
- Must possess a valid driver's license;
