Cayman Wine Fest Celebrates its Fourth Year with an Expanded Line-Up of Events
Cayman Wine Fest is back for its fourth year, bigger and better than ever, with an expanded schedule featuring masterclasses, pairings, tastings, and exclusive experiences across the island. Hosted by Tortuga Rum Company, this five-day festival runs from Wednesday, 9 October to Sunday, 13 October 2024, and promises a vibrant celebration of fine wines, spirits, and culinary delights.
The highlight of the festival is the much-anticipated Signature Wine and Spirits Experience on Saturday, 12 October, at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa. This flagship event is made up of two components: an afternoon session for those in the food and beverage industry and an evening session for members of the wine-loving public, with unlimited tastings of some of the world’s finest wines and spirits perfectly paired with gourmet food and live entertainment creating an unforgettable night.
Cayman Wine Fest is a must-attend event for drinks enthusiasts, foodies, and hospitality professionals eager to explore global flavours, expand their beverage knowledge, and connect with hundreds of participating local and international brands. - Welcome Cocktail Party | Wednesday, 9 October: Cayman Wine Fest 2024 kicks off at The Wharf from 6-9pm, and everyone’s invited compliments of Flor de Caña and Château de Berne Rosé!
- Ultimate Provence Dinner | Thursday, 10 October: an exclusive evening with Château de Berne and Ultimate Provence at Aria celebrating some of Provence’s finest rosés, this special dinner will pair the brand’s renowned rosé wines with a set menu of seasonal dishes in the restaurant’s classic Mediterranean style. - Flor de Caña Happy Hour | Friday, 11 October: a special rum and cigar happy hour hosted by premium rum Flor de Caña at Grand Old House from 5-8pm. Drop-ins are welcome—no reservations are required.
- Whistlepig Masterclass | Friday, 11 October: an intimate tasting of fine, old and rare expressions from ultra-premium rye whisky distillery, Whistlepig, led by visiting whisky experts, who will share the art of whisky making at Cask Whisky Bar.
