Cincoro Añejo is aged at the distillery 24-28 months in an underground cellar, further enhancing the interaction between the barrel and tequila. Intense amber in color with copper overtones, wood and dried fruits on the nose elegantly resonate throughout. Notes of orange, fig and date, with hints of caramel and butterscotch are distinguished on the palate. Unforgettable mouth feel and smooth luxurious finish lay the foundation for both classic cocktails or sipping neat.
Cincoro aged expressions are characterized by their smoothness, richness, and deliciousness. Words rarely used to describe tequila. Cincoro Añejo begins as Cincoro Blanco, aging in used American whiskey barrels for 24-28 months. The aging and blending process is more robust for Añejo, as the master blender must distinguish more subtle notes from barrels over 3 years old, with a wide range of complexity from each barrel. The aging and blending process creates the rich and complex Cincoro taste profile, balancing the uniqueness of the agave profile, with time aging in specially selected barrels. Cincoro Añejo has layers of complexity, similar to fine bourbon or single malt scotch.
