Crafted in Paso Robles by Booker Vineyard, the inaugural 2020 “PERL” vintage is a Rhône-style blend drawn primarily from the organic Booker estate, with additional fruit from Catapult and Moonsprings vineyards. The wine opens with an intriguing bouquet of cured meat, black olive, black pepper, graphite, and clove, layered with delicate notes of violet and raspberry coulis. On the palate, it offers rich, mouth-coating lushness balanced by assertive, gravelly tannins that lead into a long, lingering finish.
